Process Engineer

MTS Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Process and Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting multi-disciplined engineering designs for the industrial and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce design deliverables for the completion of chemical and industrial projects.
- Develop designs, studies, cost estimates, tender documents, and technical reports.
- Provide project coordination and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Define scope and project objectives with clients and prepare proposals.
- Liaise with clients on technical requirements and project timelines.
- Produce project deliverables, including scope definition, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Perform detailed calculations for mass and energy balances, pipe and pump sizing, and equipment sizing.
- Prepare equipment technical specifications and make recommendations and selections based on project requirements.
- Prepare specification and tender packages for vendors and contractor quotation.
- Work with CAD technicians to produce construction and installation drawing packages.
- Coordinate equipment procurement and field work for commissioning and project support.
Requirements:
- University degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in industrial process design.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, Office, Project).
- Understanding of instrumentation and PLC systems.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
