Job Summary

Lodex Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to enhance productivity and product quality
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of 5-10 team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate the dispatch of bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Operate and maintain signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet departmental objectives
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure a high-performing team
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to support departmental operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical demands of the job require attention to detail and flexibility
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate reliability
