Position Overview:
The Clinic Medical Assistant operates under general supervision to support healthcare providers in delivering patient care. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering medications, and gathering patient history during medical appointments. The role also involves assisting with office tasks and providing backup support to the receptionist as needed. Additionally, the Medical Assistant performs phlebotomy, completes diagnostic requisition forms, and aids in scheduling tests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in a clinical environment or relevant training.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant is advantageous.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of employment.
- Experience in an office or clinic setting is necessary for effective communication and data entry.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain organization in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient computer skills to effectively use various software applications.
Compensation: $21.00 – $28.22+ per hour, depending on experience, plus a $2000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles.
$350/month Housing Stipend available for residents of designated counties.
Benefits: Employees working in both full-time and part-time capacities are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, Short-Term Disability, and Flexible Spending Accounts. All non-temporary employees can participate in our retirement program.
Employment Status: Available for both Full-Time and Part-Time permanent positions.
Shifts: Various schedules available, including weekends and weekdays.
