Job Title: Structural Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Structural Metal Worker to join our team at Superior Truck & Trailer Repair Services Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to form structures, laying out reference points and patterns, and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable structures
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
  • Construct patterns and templates to ensure precise fit and finish
  • Install fabricated components in final product
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in structural metal work
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 hours per week

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
