Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Management: Administer and optimize Azure cloud environments, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other related applications.
  • System Administration: Perform routine system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of servers and software. Manage identity and access in a hybrid environment with Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures and compliance protocols to protect both cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts for automating cloud and Microsoft 365 tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, or other relevant tools.
  • Backup and Recovery: Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery processes are in place for cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud services and Microsoft 365, performing root cause analysis and applying corrective actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 configurations, and operational procedures.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and training for users regarding Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and business units to ensure effective integration and support of cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and Microsoft 365, and recommend improvements to enhance IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on cloud technologies and Microsoft 365.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements.
