About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the property and product exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to hotel guest rooms and equipment, including kitchen, boiler, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Identify and rectify general maintenance issues within the property, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
- Respond to guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular internal and external rounds of the property to ensure everything is in working order, reporting any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain work area, all equipment, and logbooks, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms and power failures, demonstrating a calm and professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Technical experience in a recognized trade, with a general understanding of building maintenance and operation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong commitment to teamwork and a passion for learning and growth.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, with strong organizational skills and a working knowledge of mechanical systems and operations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, creative thinking, and decision-making skills, with good computer and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
