About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Aurora Marble & Granite Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and adjust production machinery to meet quality and efficiency standards
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure quality control
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
