We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at NA 786 Transportation Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy equipment and machinery.
