About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at 2324523 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Regularly sweep and mop all floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust all furniture and fixtures, and polish floors to a high shine.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning: Vacuum all carpeted areas, including area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information to customers and address any complaints or concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Trash and Recycling: Regularly empty trash containers and ensure recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
  • General Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 32.5 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
