Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Clear Police Vulnerable Persons Sector Check.
  • Completed stage 1 TB Test.
  • Hold a valid class "G" driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Access and ability to use printer/scanner and technology as necessary.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial capabilities to identify their functional challenges and aspirations.
  • Formulate personalized treatment strategies that cater to clients' requirements and objectives, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to clients across various environments, including home, community, and clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers, to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Provide education to clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders on methods to enhance functional independence and engagement in daily activities.
  • Maintain precise and timely records of client assessments, progress, and interventions in compliance with professional standards and regulatory mandates.
