Job SummaryWe are seeking qualified Secondary Occasional Teachers who possess meaningful experiences working with adolescents and/or youth. These experiences may include both paid and volunteer work. Successful candidates will provide evidence of their ability to create engaging learning environments and foster the success and well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach secondary school subjects to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and online platforms.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with curriculum developments.
- Be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
- Hold a minimum of one Intermediate and Senior Qualification and one other additional qualification at the Senior level in a different subject area.
- Have relevant teaching experience, including paid and volunteer work with adolescents and/or youth.
