About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team at Pocket, a leading mobile application developer. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android and iOS applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and bug fixes.
  • Work closely with our existing mobile engineers to build an extraordinary engineering experience.
  • Participate in daily decisions influencing the future of Pocket and its mobile platform.
Requirements
  • Several years of real-world Android or iOS experience with contributions to one or more high-quality Android or iOS apps.
  • Knowledge of the Android or iOS SDK inside and out.
  • Substantial experience with Swift and/or Kotlin.
  • Either experience or strong interest in building development skills on both Android and iOS.
  • Experience resolving problems, signaling risk, fostering change, and facilitating collaborative decision-making in a cross-functional team.
  • Passion for building good products.
  • Interest in learning and experimenting with new technologies.
