Position Title: Industrial Electrician
The Industrial Electrician will play a crucial role in performing electrical diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and calibration tasks to uphold equipment reliability and adherence to quality benchmarks. This position also includes the responsibility of mentoring colleagues on proper operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement maintenance strategies for electrical systems
- Manage maintenance initiatives and system enhancements
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and electronic systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failure
- Provide guidance and training to team members
- Proactively address and resolve technical issues
- Foster effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders
- Assist in mechanical maintenance tasks
- Utilize the SAP maintenance module proficiently
Qualifications:
- Possession of an Ontario Industrial Electrician license is mandatory
- Proven experience in diagnosing control systems
- Diploma in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Technology is required
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers is essential
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
