We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Leberty Stone Construction Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard. This will involve repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and advising clients on color choices and wall coverings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
- Advise clients on color choices and wall coverings
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
- Ability to work as part of a team
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards. A valid first aid certificate and a willingness to work at heights are essential.
