Your Contribution Matters

The individual in this role will be tasked with generating high-quality medical images for diagnostic use. You will operate independently within the ultrasound domain, assisting radiologists or physicians during specific examinations in the ultrasound suite. Your collaborative efforts will enhance customer service and ensure the delivery of superior examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily tasks based on the schedule and prepare necessary equipment and materials for examinations;
  • Build a trusting rapport with patients by introducing yourself and providing essential explanations to facilitate the examination process;
  • Ensure all patient documents, questionnaires, or consent forms are completed and that patients are adequately prepared;
  • Review radiological examination requests, evaluate the appropriateness of the requested procedures, and consult with a radiologist as needed;
  • Position and prepare patients to maximize the quality of ultrasound images while ensuring their comfort;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • DEC in Radiodiagnostic Technology;
  • Active membership in the Order of Medical Imaging Technologists, Radio-Oncology Technologists, and Electrophysiology Technologists of Quebec (OTIMROEPMQ);
  • Any additional training in radiology, fluoroscopy, or osteology is an asset;
  • Functional bilingualism (French - English);

Important Information:

  • Full-time permanent position of 35 hours;
  • Floating role across various locations;
  • Primarily daytime shifts during weekdays, with availability required for two evenings per week and one weekend every three weeks.
