Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and corporate tax returns.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and QuickBooks, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
