We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Lakeland Long Term Care Services Corporation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing services to our patients in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Deliver nursing services to patients based on individual assessments and care plans, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly evaluate patients' progress, adjust care plans as needed, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Work in a Team Environment: Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Comply with Regulatory Requirements: Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, including those related to patient confidentiality and safety.
- Education: College diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting is an asset.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body and any additional certifications required by the organization.
