Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cash and holdings reconciliations across core systems, custodians, prime brokers, and Investment Managers
- Handle investment accounting tasks, including trade entry and maintenance of securities and holdings data
- Execute full NAV calculations, including income and expense accruals
- Manage investor-related processes, such as subscriptions and redemptions
- Conduct price file uploads, including variance analysis and research using Bloomberg terminals
- Generate daily and/or monthly client reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, including audit support and analytical reviews
- Foster relationships with clients and counterparties, addressing inquiries as needed
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients and special projects
- Participate in system release testing
Qualifications:
- A post-secondary degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in mutual fund or investment accounting is essential, with a preference for hedge fund experience
- 2 to 3 years of fund accounting experience is required
- Strong understanding of investment products, including exchange-traded, derivatives, and OTCs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with financial statements and notes is advantageous
