Maintenance Person Job Description

Crest Hotel LP is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Person to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Administrative Tasks: Advertise vacancy; perform safety and security checks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent experience
Working Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
