Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Polisher - Auberge Du Pommier to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and putting away all glassware and utensils while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashers efficiently to ensure optimal cleaning and sanitizing of glassware and utensils
- Wash and polish all glassware and flatware to the highest standards
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts, and dish racks to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products to ensure seamless operations
- Safely handle and store cleaning products to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform general dish area maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, organization, and garbage removal
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Front of House Management Team
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment is an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and organized with excellent time management skills
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
