Retail Store Manager

As a Retail Store Supervisor at Esso, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes assigning tasks, hiring and training staff, and ensuring that sales volumes and merchandising are meeting expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for training to be provided
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working effectively
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise the activities of workers
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that sales volumes and merchandising are meeting expectations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The Retail Store Supervisor will work 30 hours per week.
