Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Value Tire Regina. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices.
  • Provide customer service.
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Tools.
