Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator to join our team at Alberta Paving Ltd. This is a seasonal position that requires a dedicated individual with experience in operating heavy machinery.

Work Environment
  • Location: Various outdoor sites

Work Schedule

Expect to work between 35 to 65 hours per week, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree required
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate is mandatory
Responsibilities

As an Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator, your duties will include:

  • Operating heavy machinery such as asphalt spreaders, pavers, and front-end loaders
  • Conducting pre-operational checks and maintaining equipment
  • Cleaning and lubricating machinery
  • Preparing reports on any accidents or incidents
Skills and Attributes
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel regularly and possess a valid driver's license
