Job Summary

MAGIC SHADE PAINTERS INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Painting and Decorating Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating process, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate painting and decorating projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead and Train a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Manage Materials and Equipment to ensure they are in good condition and sufficient for the job.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies as needed to support project requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent.
  • 7 Months to Less Than 1 Year of experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on supervisory or leadership roles.
