About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team at Arc'teryx. As a key member of our Sourcing Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing category-specific sourcing strategies to align with our organization's long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Management: Manage category and vendor relationships, planning for the long term, and addressing challenges and opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and enhance key metrics related to speed, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive improvements in speed, scalability, and efficiency in the development process.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise a team of Sourcing Specialists to facilitate costing deliverables and commercialization.
  • Vendor Negotiations and Development: Oversee product costing negotiations, commercialization, and multi-sourced model development.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Textile Design, Merchandising, or Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in sourcing, design, production, or merchandising, with 3+ years in leadership.
  • Skills: Proficient in apparel construction, material properties, costing, and related areas. Digital dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Vendor Experience: Experience with domestic and offshore vendors.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, detail-oriented, and strong prioritization skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and adapt to changes.
