Job Title: Chemistry Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Research Scientist to join our team at Ayrton Energy Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research to develop new chemical formulations and processes, devising new technical applications of industrial chemicals and compounds, and acting as a technical consultant in a particular field of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research to develop new chemical formulations and processes
  • Devise new technical applications of industrial chemicals and compounds
  • Act as technical consultant in a particular field of expertise
  • Participate in the commercialization of new products
  • Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify, and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds
  • Conduct research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions
  • Develop and conduct programs of analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates, or final products
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
