Job Opportunity: Island Health is seeking a Neurologist to join our team in Victoria.

About the Role: As a Neurologist with Island Health, you will be part of a dynamic team of 11 healthcare professionals providing comprehensive neurology services to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a hospital-based inpatient general neurology practice, including participation in the on-call schedule.
  • Develop and maintain an independent office practice, providing sub-specialty care in stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, neuro-muscular and neuro-behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Neurology or equivalent.
  • Experience in stroke sub-specialty or other sub-specialty areas that will bring new skills to our community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
