Polar Sapphire Ltd. is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a central control room environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our petroleum, gas, and chemical processing units.
Key Responsibilities- Process Control: Operate electronic or computerized control panels to monitor and control process start-up, shut-down, and troubleshooting.
- Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls to optimize process performance.
- Shift Cycle Coordination: Rotate between different petroleum, gas, and chemical processing units during shift cycles to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintenance Preparation: Shut down, isolate, and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance activities.
- Language and Communication: Work in English and communicate effectively with team members to ensure clear understanding of tasks and responsibilities.
- Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with regular breaks and time off.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
