Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Load and unload goods, oversee the condition of the vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accidents or incidents, and possess a basic security clearance.
  • Work Environment: Work in a dusty environment, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a large workload and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgment, organization, teamwork, hard work, and patience.
Work Environment:
