Key Responsibilities

  • Stock product to shelves, including dairy, frozen, perishable, and non-perishable items
  • Maintain and build merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs
  • Rotate product to ensure freshness and availability
  • Load and unload product for the sales floor
  • Manage backroom and inventory
  • Operate a cash register as needed for relief during peak business hours

Requirements

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented individual
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer service skills and ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
  • Availability to work between 11:00 pm and 7:30 am, with potential to transfer to days based on collective agreement
