About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Trans 99 Logistics. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other applicable taxes.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
