About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Installer to join our team at Newworld Cabinets Ltd. As a Cabinet Installer, you will be responsible for installing kitchen cabinets and vanities to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of Kitchen Cabinets and Vanities: Install kitchen cabinets and vanities in residential and commercial settings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including loading and unloading trucks with equipment and supplies.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations efficiently and effectively.
  • Scaffolding and Platform Installation: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cabinet installation.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation environments.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, accuracy, dependability, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
