The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily store activities and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role is essential.
- Supervise and guide a team of 3-4 staff members, including apprentices and sales associates.
- Delegate tasks to sales personnel to optimize store operations.
- Authorize payment transactions and manage merchandise returns.
- Maintain inventory levels and order new stock as necessary.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
- Engage in direct sales activities and assist customers as needed.
- Prepare and present reports regarding sales performance and staffing issues.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages effectively.
- Organize and maintain the store's inventory system.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the expectation of standing for extended periods.
Personal Attributes- Must demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and exercise sound judgment.
- Dependability and accuracy in completing tasks are essential.
- Transportation: Candidates must have their own means of transportation.
- Work Schedule: Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
