Residential Painter (Live-In Position)
Job Overview
The Residential Painter is responsible for the professional application of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer in accordance with company directives within a residential apartment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Applying protective and decorative finishes, including paint, varnish, and stains to walls and ceilings within residential units;
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, patching, filling holes, removing nails, and scraping off old paint prior to applying new coatings;
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment, paint mixing areas, and workspaces after each task;
- Occasionally performing basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge and experience working with various materials and surfaces such as metal, brick, wood, stone, and plaster.
- Strong manual dexterity, keen vision, and meticulous attention to detail.
Additional Details:
- Must be willing to reside within the building.
- Must possess personal tools required for all tasks.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
