Logistics Coordinator

Best Truck Service is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from our warehouse to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the most efficient method of shipment for our goods
- Schedule the distribution of goods to meet customer deadlines
- Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
- Assemble and inspect containers and crates to ensure they are secure and meet customer requirements
- Verify the accuracy of incoming goods against invoices and other documents
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery dates
- Route goods to the appropriate storage areas and ensure they are properly labeled and secured
- Pack and unpack goods to be shipped, ensuring they are properly secured and meet customer requirements
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are handled safely and efficiently
- Supervise material handlers and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and safely
- 1-2 years of experience in a shipping and receiving role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
