We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Save-On-Foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process written prescriptions and refill requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Input patient and prescription information into the computer system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, including expiry date checks, balance owing, and inventory corrections.
  • Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist to ensure accurate and safe dispensing.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 2 years of dispensary experience.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for our customers.
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset.
