Join Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as a Family Physician specializing in Geriatrics.
VCH is currently seeking a part-time Family Physician to serve at Purdy Pavilion Long Term Care, which is situated near a prominent acute care facility on a university campus.
This facility is managed by Vancouver Coastal Health and features a diverse environment catering primarily to elderly residents with complex long-term care needs.
In this role, you will report to the Medical Coordinator of the site and will be instrumental in addressing the primary healthcare requirements of residents while contributing to the formation of a collaborative inter-professional care team.
Physicians in this position will also participate in shared on-call responsibilities with other care providers. Become a vital part of our team.
As a Family Physician – Geriatrics with Vancouver Coastal Health, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct clinical services to residents
- Encouraging a collaborative inter-professional practice environment
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience:
- Valid CPSBC License
- Designation or eligibility from the Canadian College of Family Practitioners
- Experience in geriatric care
Knowledge & Skills:
- Dedication to health improvement and effective care delivery
- Capability to work within an inter-professional healthcare team
