We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at VA Capital, a leading commercial mortgage firm in Montreal. As a Loan Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical thinking and solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality and professional services that support our lending activities, functioning as a collaborative partner within our processing team.
- Support the compliance validation of internal Anti-Money Laundering processes and forms, records keeping and accuracy.
- Ensure timely processing of maturing loans and commitments by including daily monitoring and management of upcoming events.
- Conduct daily reviews of the reconciliation of cash disbursement suspense accounts, involving timely monitoring, resolving, and reporting of all open items, and ensuring that reconciliation tapes for Control & Reconciliation are prepared daily.
- Ensure customer portfolios are reconciled, and any necessary corrections are applied, such as addressing unused commitment fees and balances, past due items, disparities in fee amortization, and general ledger balances.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or another relevant field.
- Experience in SS&C Precision LM and/or similar software is a must.
- Strong understanding and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Passion and/or experience in the real estate industry are assets.
- Fluency in English and French.
