The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within our establishment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role is necessary.
The role is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment where the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential. Candidates should be prepared to handle various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to effectively meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports as required.
This position will oversee a team of 3-4 individuals, including:
- Cooks (general)
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
A basic security clearance is required for this position.
