We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Produce Utility Clerk to join our team at Calgary Co-op. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide top-notch customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Effectively manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise to ensure optimal display and sales.
- Collaborate with the Produce Supervisor and Produce Manager to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform general clean-up duties, including cleaning spills and display fixtures, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle merchandise with care, minimizing damages and markdowns, and ensuring accurate pricing and labeling.
- Grade 9 or equivalent education and experience.
- Related retail experience, including customer service and inventory management.
- Fluency in English (CLBA - Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher).
- Receiving, counter set-up, and product knowledge/experience.
- Knowledge of ordering merchandise and supplies, and related procedures.
