About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at 1182888 BC LTD. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Assist the Store Manager in supervising and managing a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
  • Operations: Assist in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily store operations, including managing inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining store appearance.
  • Marketing and Sales: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring sales and expenses.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English, and the work conditions include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
