About the Role

Vestas is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician I to join our team in Tiverton, Ontario. As a key member of our field operations team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines
• Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to varying weather conditions
• Collaborate with a team of 2-3 technicians to complete tasks and achieve goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work, or a wind school certification
• Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO)
• Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative in daily tasks
