Shift Manager Responsibilities
- Motivate crew members to consistently perform at their best
- Ensure customers receive an exceptional dining experience
- Achieve excellent results while fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and patrons
- Develop management skills in a dynamic setting
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration
- Train, oversee, and reinforce food safety and operational procedures
- Manage food and labor expenses effectively
- Implement company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels diligently
- Provide thorough training for team members
- Identify and address issues proactively
- Maintain swift, accurate service, deliver outstanding customer service, and meet or exceed expectations
- Uphold a professional appearance while delivering excellent customer service with the Tim Hortons team
This position is associated with one of our many franchisees. Each independently owned and operated Tim Hortons franchise determines its own compensation, benefits, and career development programs, which may differ from those at company-owned locations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is required
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Flexible availability is essential
- Strong leadership and customer service skills are necessary
- Friendly and outgoing personality is a must
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to work on your feet for extended periods
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance is expected
- Engaging and positive demeanor is essential
- Able to lift 35 pounds to waist level
- Open availability to cover various shifts throughout the week
