Job Summary

Titmouse is seeking a skilled 2D Animation Specialist to join our team for an adult animated comedy series. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D animation sequences, working closely with our animation director to bring this exciting project to life.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement animation strategies to enhance storytelling and character development
  • Collaborate with the animation director to create and refine animation sequences, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and timing
  • Animate scenes from rough to clean and complete work, adhering to scheduled deadlines
  • Perform revisions as needed, incorporating client and director feedback to ensure optimal results
  • Utilize Adobe Animate to create designs, poses, and animation sequences, as well as layouts and other visual elements
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an animator on a 2D series, with a strong understanding of animation basics, acting, staging, posing, and timing
  • Excellent drawing skills and a keen sense of style or artistry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Adobe Animate and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the animation director and other team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary information
Software Skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Animate
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies
  • Experience with Adobe Animation suite, including After Effects
