Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Mountain Driving: Demonstrate expertise in navigating challenging mountainous terrain.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Specialized Driving: Operate lighter, special-purpose trucks and transport goods and materials safely.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
