Role Overview

As a pivotal member of the Alexa Calendar team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing voice-driven functionalities that enrich the daily lives of Alexa users. Your contributions will help foster stronger connections among family members, enabling them to communicate and coordinate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Be a key influencer in shaping the architecture and future direction of our innovative product.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, user experience designers, and various teams to create and deliver personalized, intelligent customer experiences.
  • Operational Excellence: Exhibit a strong commitment to operational excellence by implementing and promoting best practices within the team.
  • Mentorship: Recruit and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting systems, focusing on reliability and scalability.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 3 years of experience throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
