Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
