Accounting Clerk Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Calculate, prepare, and issue financial documents, including bills, invoices, and account statements
* Code, total, batch, enter, verify, and reconcile transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank statements
* Compile budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses
* Prepare period or cost statements or reports

**Customer Service:**

* Respond to customer inquiries and maintain good customer relations
* Solve problems and provide excellent customer service

**Administrative Duties:**

* Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, and faxing and photocopying

**Requirements:**

* Punctual
* Attention to detail
* Strong math skills
* MS Office and QuickBooks skills
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Ability to work independently
