An exciting opportunity is available for a Rehabilitation Assistant role with Vancouver Coastal Health. The selected individual will collaborate closely with the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams to facilitate rehabilitative processes. This position entails assisting the team with a variety of responsibilities, including executing therapeutic interventions, instructing activities, and guiding patients and their families.
About the Role:
The Rehabilitation Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation efforts of patients, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and support throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Rehabilitation Assistant Program
