Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

Quick Wrench is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dusty, dirty, and noisy garage setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders
  • Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools
